The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says two were killed when a pickup struck a disabled car being pushed along an Okfuskee County highway Friday evening.

Troopers identified the driver of the disabled Nissan as 39-year-old Cindy Norton of Dustin and the pedestrian, 37-year-old Eric Norton also of Dustin in the 7 p.m. crash.  The OHP says Eric Norton and two teens were pushing the Nissan when it was struck by a pickup.

Two teens, ages 13 and 15,  were treated and released from an Henryetta hospital.

The OHP says the eastbound GMC pickup, driven by Mark Smith, 57, of Dustin, swerved to avoid the Nissan, but struck the left rear of the car.

In their report, troopers said Smith was also treated and released from the Henryetta hospital.

The OHP says the cause of the crash remains under investigation.
