A Green Country man wants to find the thieves he said stole thousands of dollars’ worth of equipment used for his business.

Rick Glover said someone took both his truck and a trailer full of lawn equipment right from in front of his home.

Glover said he wants his stuff back so he can get to work and take care of his family.

"This takes away a lot of our income and now we're scared of losing our business," Glover said.

For years, Glover spent most of his time working for landscaping companies in Oklahoma. In January, he started his own.

"It's my livelihood. This is my career, and this is what I know I got to do to make things look beautiful," Glover said.

By opening up G&H Lawns and Landscaping, Glover said he's been able to take care of his family and his father who was diagnosed with lymphoma in June.

"I've done a lot in my life. I'm an ex-convict of 12 years that's been released and I'm trying to take care of my dad who has cancer," Glover said.

Saturday night he parked his company truck and trailer in front of his home. When he woke up the next day, both were gone.

He said the thieves got away with thousands of dollars’ worth of items essential for his business.

"I don't know how I'm going to take care of my clients now and that's my biggest concern," Glover said.

Tulsa Police said these types of thefts are not uncommon.

"We encourage individuals to make sure that you keep all your serial numbers," said Jeanne Mackenzie with Tulsa Police.

For Glover, it's not about the money, but about doing the right thing, and hopefully preventing other business owners from dealing with the same frustrations.

"If they were to drive back up and leave my trailer truck and everything put back like it was, then they can go free. But if the cops catch them, I want them in jail," Glover said.

If you know anything that could help police, call CrimeStoppers at 918-596-COPS.

If you would like to help, Glover has set up a GoFundMe page.
