Vinita Receives $25,000 AARP Grant

It will soon be easier to walk around in downtown Vinita thanks to a $25,000 grant from AARP.

City officials were presented with an honorary check on Tuesday from AARP's 2018 Community Challenge Grant program.

ADA compliant benches and tables are being installed along with new lighting and public art.

The improvements should be finished by November 5.
