There's a variety of fun events taking place this weekend.
Tulsa’s 58th annual Greek Festival is this weekend. There will be live music, dancing, shopping, and authentic Greek food on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. On Sunday, you can enjoy brunch from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The events are at the Greek Orthodox Church at 1222 S. Guthrie Ave. in Tulsa. Admission is $5 for adults, kids are free.
The 5th annual Festival Americas is bringing live music, dance, art markets, and food trucks to the Guthrie Green. Performers include Grammy Award-winning Flor De Toloache. The event is on Saturday from 4 to 10 p.m. Admission is free.
Tulsa’s River Parks Authority is bringing Monarchs on the Mountain to Turkey Mountain. The festival celebrates the vital role Eastern Oklahoma plays during the migration of the Monarch Butterfly. Organizers say there will be several interactive activities and food trucks will be on site. The festivities run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. It’s free and open to everyone.
A new exhibit at the Oklahoma Aquarium is opening this weekend. Polynesian Reef will showcase over 70 species of South Pacific reef fish in a vibrant coral-filled tank. This will be the second largest exhibit in the aquarium, with more than 500 colorful tropical fish. The exhibit’s opening will be celebrated with a luau on Saturday starting at 5 p.m. There will be live music, cocktails, food, and fun for the whole family.
