Tulsa firefighters responded to a duplex fire near 61st and Peoria early Tuesday evening, April 9. One side of the duplex was badly damaged by fire, according to TFD.
Firefighters were called to the 6300 block of South Owasso Place around 5:45 p.m. and quickly knocked the fire down.
They told News On 6 the residents had gotten out of the duplex. Firefighters said the fire started in a bedroom and spread outside a little.
They called Red Cross to help the two adults and two children who live there.
The other side of the duplex wasn't damaged by fire, but firefighters had to pull the electric meter, so those two adults got assistance from Red Cross as well.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
