Woman Walking Kids To School Finds Body In Tulsa Creek

Tulsa Police are investigating after a body was near 11th Street and Garnett. Officers say a woman saw a man's body in a creek while walking her children to school early Wednesday morning, September 11.

Homicide Sgt. Brandon Watkins said there are indications the man died of accidental causes, but it is still early in the investigation.

The medical examiner's office has been called to the scene. Watkins said officers will be looking for surveillance video of the area to try to learn more about what happened.

Anyone who has information about what may have happened is asked to call Tulsa Police.
