Tenkiller Ferry Lake Drowning Victim Identified

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol identified 24-year-old Christopher Compton of Welling as the man who drowned at Ten Killer Ferry Lake near Horseshoe Bend.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol identified 24-year-old Christopher Compton of Welling as the man who drowned at Ten Killer Ferry Lake near Horseshoe Bend.

Troopers say Compton tried to swim across the lake earlier this week but started struggling and went under the water.

OHP found the body Tuesday afternoon in about 7 feet of water.
