Iconic McDonald's Set To Reopen Along Will Rogers Turnpike

The iconic McDonald's that stretches across Interstate 44 is a landmark to anyone who travels the Will Rogers Turnpike.

It's been closed since June of 2013 for a major renovation project, but will finally reopen to travelers next Monday.

Setbacks, including bridge deterioration and asbestos, put the Vinita Service Plaza behind schedule and over budget.

The Will Rogers Archway cost about $15 million, about $1 million more than expected.

The plaza opens to traffic Monday afternoon at 4:00.
