Man Sentenced To 35 Years In Prison For 2022 Tulsa Murder

A Tulsa County judge sentences a man to 35 years behind bars for shooting another man in the head just outside of downtown Tulsa.

Jaheim Nelms pled guilty to first-degree manslaughter in January and was sentenced on Wednesday.

Prosecutors say Nelms killed Jean-Paul Marquis in October 2022.

They say investigators tracked the victim's car to Texas and found Nelms inside, and he admitted to killing Marquis during a robbery.
