Dan Bewley

Dan Bewley joined News On 6 in November 2007 as a field producer/reporter. An Oklahoma native, he was born and raised in Edmond and is a graduate of the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma in Chickasha. In the late 1990s, he worked in Tulsa television as a photojournalist and occasional feature reporter.

Bewley returned to Tulsa after reporting in Grand Rapids, Michigan where he was part of the Emmy award-winning coverage of the funeral of former President Gerald R. Ford. Previously, Bewley also worked in Oklahoma City, Austin, Texas and Harrisonburg, Virginia.

Married with a son, Bewley enjoys reading, taking his dogs for a hike, and trying to teach himself how to play the bodhran, a handheld Irish drum.
