(Durango, Colorado-AP) -- A Colorado man accused of stealing the identity of a dead Oklahoma infant has reached a plea agreement.
Tobias Piette faces a felony charge for stealing the name of Adam Russell Boggs of Tulsa, who died in 1981.
As part of the agreement Piette will face a misdemeanor charge instead of the felony.
Colorado authorities say Piette has a Colorado driver's license, a Social Security number, a birth certificate and a US Passport all in the name of the dead Tulsa boy.
Piette was caught earlier this year after requesting a copy of Boggs' birth certificate. The Oklahoma Vital Records Division found the birth certificate and the death certificate and contacted Colorado authorities.
