TULSA, OK -- A suspect in an Irving, Texas bank robbery who allegedly used a limousine to get away in style has been caught in Tulsa.
Officers with the Irving Police Department say the robber went to the Comerica Bank, took cash from a teller and then left in a black limousine. Irving Police determined the limo had made a drop in Tulsa.
The Tulsa Police Department Uniform Patrol officers and Robbery Detectives believe the man was dropped off in Tulsa by one limo and had arranged for another limo service to pick him up.
That limo was stopped and Tulsa police arrested 40-year-old Cory Eugene Gill.
Tulsa police recovered the majority of the cash stolen in the Comerica Bank Robbery.
Gill is wanted by the Federal authorities for parole violation of earlier bank robberies.
The Oklahoma City Police Department had Gill listed as their suspect in a bank robbery of the Bank of the West robbery on October 2, 2008.
The Tulsa FBI office assisted in the investigation and arrest of Gill.
