UNDATED – There are new details on the natural gas explosion that killed a father of seven from Green Country.

James Neese, 45, was drilling a hole to put up a power pole when his auger hit a natural gas line and sparked a huge fireball.

The National Transportation Safety Board now says the natural gas company is to blame and the company failed to mark the underground pipeline.

The gas company could face hundreds-of-thousands of dollars in fines.
