A community crisis center in Miami was dedicated in honor of an Oklahoma woman killed in Iraq in 2004.
Fern Holland, 33, was a Tulsa attorney who graduated from Miami High School.
She killed by Iraqi gunmen near Hillah, about 35 miles south of Baghdad.
Holland was working as a civilian contractor for the U.S. Department of Defense. She took depositions from torture victims and their families as part of her work in Iraq.

The center located on Main Street in Miami provides shelter and help to victims of domestic and sexual violence and their children, along with victims of stalking.
The center serves residents in Ottawa, Delaware and Craig counties.
