A national insurance company has released its America's Best Drivers Report and two Oklahoma cities rank in the middle of the list.
Allstate Insurance Company's report ranks Tulsa drivers as the 95th safest. Tulsa improved by 12 places, up from 107th in 2011.
The average driver in Tulsa will experience an auto collision every 9.4 years.
The report, based on Allstate claims data, ranks America's 200 largest cities in terms of car collision frequency to identify which cities have the safest drivers.
Oklahoma City is ranked 80th on the list, up from 84th in 2011.
The average driver in OKC will be involved in a crash every 9.7 years.
"We don't want drivers in Tulsa to be discouraged by their ranking. Instead, we want the report to challenge drivers in Tulsa to make positive changes to their driving habits that will in turn make the city a safer place to live, work and raise families," said Mike DeMarco, a Tulsa-based Allstate exclusive agency owner.

This year's top honor of "America's Safest Driving City" is Sioux Falls, South Dakota, the fifth time in the history of the report that the city has held the top spot. According to the report, the average driver in Sioux Falls will experience an auto collision every 13.8 years.
