We've got some good news about a special needs student in Broken Arrow.
Last week, we profiled 17-year-old Mary Washer, a mentally disabled girl who is a senior at South Intermediate High School in Broken Arrow.
She was in jeopardy of not graduating, because she hadn't yet passed "End of Instruction" tests on subjects like biology, history and algebra.
Wednesday, she learned she would graduate, after improving her scores in all subjects.
Mary's mother said she's excited her daughter will get a diploma, but she remains concerned that disabled children have to pass unrealistic tests to get recognition for their time in school.
