Hertz says it is expanding its Dollar-Thrifty locations across Europe. Hertz says since February 2013, the company has opened 114 Dollar-Thrifty locations in France, Spain and Luxembourg.
Dollar-Thrifty is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hertz.
The car rental giant says it has plans for continued growth, through both corporate and franchise location openings, in additional European countries in the coming months.
"The new Dollar and Thrifty locations offer local residents and visitors a compelling value proposition of excellent service, top-quality vehicles and a budget-friendly way to explore the sights," said Tom Kelley, Vice President of Dollar and Thrifty International. "Located both at major airports and in towns and cities across Spain, France and the Benelux region, the new locations provide value-oriented travelers a wide range of rental options and multitude of convenient locations to choose from."
The latest openings bring the brands' totals to 335 Thrifty locations and 259 Dollar locations across Europe.
