Police Chase Pickup Through Tulsa Cemetery

A driver led police on a chase through a Tulsa cemetery early Tuesday.

It started around 3 a.m. at Cornerstone Village senior living center at 1045 North Yale.

Tulsa Police found several cars with smashed windows after getting a call about a burglary in progress in the parking lot. 

An officer saw someone get into a Chevy pickup and drive off. When the officer attempted to stop the pickup, it crashed through the north fence at the Rose Hill Cemetery.

A few seconds later, the truck crashed through the cemetery's south gates on Admiral and drove away.

Police are still looking for the truck. They say it's a beige Chevy that should have extensive front-end damage.

Tulsa Police don't believe any tombstones in the cemetery were damaged.
