Owasso's city council will vote Tuesday night on a proposal that would raise the city's ambulance rates for some people.
The Fire Chief says the current rates, which haven't been changed since 2007, are below the regional and statewide average prices for services.
Under the new proposal, the advanced life support fee would jump from $625 to $1,100. Also, the mileage rate would go from $6.25 to $15.
But, the Fire Chief says the increase would only affect people who don't already pay annual ambulance subscriptions on their water bills.
