If you haven't made lunch or dinner plans for Thursday, the Jenks Chamber of Commerce hopes you'll come out to one of their restaurants.
Those restaurants lost a lot of business when the Health Department ordered them closed last Friday evening, because of an E. coli scare in the Jenks water system. They couldn't re-open until after lunch on Saturday.
The Jenks chamber is now promoting its "Good For Thursday" program in an effort to help the businesses make up some of the lost profits.
