Injury Crash Shuts Down Intersection Of 81st, Delaware In Tulsa

Emergency crews responded to a crash at 81st Street and Delaware in Tulsa Friday evening.

At least two vehicles, a white SUV and a dark colored car were involved.

Eastbound traffic from Lewis on 81st Street was shut down around 9:30 p.m., while EMSA medics, police and firefighters were on the scene.

Police say the SUV was westbound on 81st, turning onto Delaware when it collided with the car, which was traveling at a high rate of speed.

Three people in the SUV were transported to the hospital, one in critical condition and two in serious to critical condition, police say.

Two people in the car were not taken to the hospital.

An officer at the scene said it's not clear yet who was at fault.
