Midtown Tulsa Area Loses Power After Teens Crash Into Pole Friday Night

A car crash near 36th and Pittsburg left several Tulsans without power Friday night.

According to an officer at the scene, three teens in a truck were speeding when they crashed into a power pole.

PSO said at one point over 4,700 customers were without power. Other customers reported that their lights flickered but remained on.

The teens were wearing seat belts but were taken to a local hospital.

No names have been released.
