The Sand Springs Police Department is looking for a vehicle they say was possibly involved in an injury collision Thursday.

In a news release, police said officers, firefighters and medics responded to a collision at 41st and Nassau at about 9 a.m.

They said a vehicle had run into a stone column at high speed, seriously injuring the two females in the car.

Police say still images and videos shot by a nearby surveillance camera show the vehicle that crashed and another white vehicle involved in a high speed chase or race.

They said when the victims' vehicle went out of control, the other vehicle continued west on 41st Street.

Officers are also hoping to speak with a person walking in the area at the time of the collision.

They ask anyone with information to contact the Sand Springs Police Department at 918-245-8777.
