Friday, Tulsa County prosecutors charged a woman with first-degree murder after investigators say she intentionally ran over her ex-boyfriend's girlfriend.
Tulsa detectives say Brittany Payne drove her car through a grassy area in the 5000 block of East 47th Place last Friday where Brianna Dean was walking with her boyfriend.

Police say Payne ran over Dean after an argument with Payne’s ex-boyfriend over a cell phone.
A police report stated Payne said during the confrontation, the victim threatened to shoot her and she saw the victim reach into her purse "for what she thought was a weapon."
The report goes on to say, Payne then drove up onto the grass, accelerated and "smashed her" with her vehicle. It also states, her 10-year-old daughter was riding in the back seat at the time of the incident.
Police say Payne then drove home in the 4200 block of North Hartford. That is where Sergeant Dave Walker said officers arrested her and impounded the Chevrolet HHR.
Dean later died at the hospital.
