Police are trying to find out who shot out more than 60 vehicle windows in several Tulsa neighborhoods early Friday.

Officers were first sent to the 5600 block of South 85th East Avenue after a homeowner called saying his vehicle's window may have been shot out by someone with a BB gun.

When police arrived, officers noticed multiple vehicles nearby with their windows broken. Additional officers were called and more vandalism incidents were discovered.  They say in all of the incidents, the vehicles were either parked on the street or in driveways.

Initially, police say the vandalism happened in an area between Sheridan to Mingo and 51st Street South to 81st Street South.  Since then, officers have got additional reports of similar vandalism in an area around 53rd and Riverside Drive several miles west of the earlier incidents.

Andy Holt says his family has been hit several times now and he thinks it may be the same people. With the holidays, Holt says it's really a bad time for this type of vandalism to happen.

"To have to drop an extra couple hundred bucks on a back windshield now that someone's broken out just for the heck of it is pretty frustrating," said Andy Holt.

Police say the vandals may have been driving a white four-door vehicle but that's as much as they know right now.

Anyone with information about the vandalism to call Tulsa Police's Crime Stoppers at 918-596-COPS.
