Oklahoma Gov. Mary Fallin delivered the State of the State address on Monday afternoon.
Fallin spoke about the loss of sales tax revenue due to the downturn in the energy sector, the budget shortfall, and education. Fallin proposed a plan that would get rid of corporate income tax, modernize sales tax, and eliminate sales tax on groceries, which she speculated that would save a family of four between $350 to $676 annually.
