A Tulsa kennel owner is being honored for a lifetime of dedication to raising and showing dogs.

Aurora Kennel's owner Julie Mueller brought home the award for Best Owner/Handler from this year's Westminster Dog show, which just wrapped up in New York.

The award recognizes the quality of dogs bred and exhibited, handling ability, condition and care of the animals exhibited, sportsmanship, ring etiquette and long-standing achievement in the sport of purebred dogs.
