Police officers encounter unusual events on a daily basis while on-duty. But it’s not every day you see a donkey in the back of the police car.
Tuesday morning, Norman Police Officer Kyle Canaan responded to a call regarding a donkey on the loose in the 8100 block of 120th Avenue NE.
To ensure the safety of the animal, Officer Canaan helped transport the donkey to a nearby home until its owner could be located.
