McIntosh County Sheriff's Office Says Missing Boy Found Safe

UPDATE: A boy who went missing from Eufaula Saturday morning is home safe.

McIntosh County Sheriff's Office says 4-year-old Simon Littlethunder was returned to his family Monday morning.   Deputies aren't saying how he was found. 

Authorities originally said the boy may have been taken by his non-custodial mother, Joleen Littlethunder.

MCINTOSH COUNTY, Oklahoma – McIntosh County Sheriff's Office is looking for a young boy who has been missing since Saturday morning.

According to the Sheriff's Office,  4-year-old Simon Littlethunder was last seen in Eufaula at around 6 a.m. on Saturday. He was only wearing cowboy boots and underwear.

Officers say Littlethunder is known to have medical or physical disability. They believe he is with his mother, 22-year-old Joleen Littlethunder, who does not have custody of the child.

The boy's mother stands 5 feet 2 inches tall and weighs 103 pounds. She is wearing a white shirt and cutoff shorts, and also has light brown hair.
