A large fire burned historic buildings in downtown Wagoner on Sunday, July 30 on Main Street near Cherokee.
A witness told News On 6 that the fire was jumping 'building to building' Sunday evening downtown, and another witness said the fire had burned half of a city block of buildings.
Officials said three buildings burned and three caught fire but are still standing.
Firefighters said the fire may have started in the top floor of one of the buildings that is an apartment building.
Fire officials said there were no injuries.
The Wagoner Mayor is asking city residents to limit their water usage since so much was used Sunday to fight the fire downtown.
Firefighters said they expect to be on the scene of the fire the rest of the night.
