Tulsa firefighters say several residents of a midtown home were displaced after their home caught fire Sunday afternoon.
Police say they were also called to the home by Public Service Company of Oklahoma who believes that someone in the home in the 7100 block of East 5th Street was stealing power.
Smoke was billowing from the back of the house shortly after 11:30 a.m. Firefighters said the fire was contained to a back bedroom, but the rest of the home sustained smoke damage.
The residents and four dogs got out safely, witnesses told News On 6.
The Red Cross was called out to help the residents find places to stay.
