Police are at an east Tulsa motel investigating the city's latest homicide.
Officers were called to the Super 8 Motel in the 3100 block of South 79th East Avenue at about 9:26 a.m. about a shooting.
Officer Leland Ashley says inside a motel room police found a deceased male victim who had been shot multiple times. He says so far, they learned the man was in the room with an unidentified female when four other men forced their way in and shots were fired. Ashley said all four were wearing black hoodies.
Right now, Ashley said detectives are talking with the woman and other people at and around the motel in order to get a better description of the shooters.
Police hope someone driving by at the time may have seen the four men leaving the motel and if they left in a vehicle.
Ashley says anyone with information is asked to call Tulsa Police's Crime Stoppers at 918-596-COPS.
This is the same motel where Tulsa Police found a 70-year-old Inola man dead on January 21, 2015 after the Rogers County Sheriff's Office had issued a Silver Alert for him.
Police said Gerald Hail was found shot to death in a motel room by a housekeeper. A man has been arrested in connection with that homicide.
