Pedestrian In Wheelchair Rushed To Tulsa Hospital After Being Hit By SUV

Tulsa police say a woman in a wheelchair has been critically injured after a car ran into her on Thursday night.

The woman was crossing 21st Street, near Nathan Hale High School when a sport utility vehicle ran in to her.

The victim was rushed to the hospital in critical condition. Police say she wasn't using a crosswalk.

The driver of the SUV waited for emergency personnel to arrive and spoke with police, who deemed it an accident.
