Information on City of Tulsa's "Drug Take-Back" program
You can turn in unused or unwanted medications from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Reasor's stores at 71st and Sheridan and 41st and Yale and the Save-A-Lot store at Pine and Lewis. The city says flushing drugs down toilets can have environmental repercussions because wastewater treatment plants are not designed to remove the chemicals found in many medications and the chemicals are discharged into streams.
