Police are warning of a scam happening in Glenpool, Jenks and south Tulsa. A woman is going around Green Country businesses claiming to raise funds for a softball team.

She holds up a sign saying "Oklahoma Native" and "Fast-pitch Softball."

Glenpool Police say it's a scam, and instead of helping a team, she is helping line her pockets from multiple businesses.

"That this person is a person of interest in the burglary because she is seen entering the business when the money was taken, and in the clothes business, when the money was taken," said Tracey Powell with Glenpool police.

If you have any information on the woman police ask you to call Crime Stoppers at 918-596-COPS.
