The storm caused major damage to the roof of the OSU Center for Health Sciences building on West 17th Street overnight.

OSU says the damage forced it to close the OSU Center for Health Sciences, OSU Health Care Center and Clinical Financial Services on Wednesday, July 24, 2013.

The school issued an alert saying the "Forensic Sciences and Biomedical Research Center sustained roof damage from the 80 mph winds sustained during last night's storms. The Phoenix Building, Clinical Financial Services and the Health Care Center were also impacted by the storms."

School officials say they are assessing the damage.

There were no reports of any injuries.
