Tulsa police are looking for suspects in an overnight shooting death at the River Glenn Apartments, located at East 63rd Street and Peoria Avenue.
Sergeant Tim Lewandowski said police were called to the apartment complex at about 3:30 a.m. Saturday after shots were fired. They found the body of a male victim lying on a walkway in a common area of the complex.
Police have identified the man but have not released his name.
The victim is described as a black male, age 20 to 30, according to Tulsa Police Homicide Sergeant Dave Walker. The man had been seen in the area during the day Friday, but police said he was not a resident of the apartment complex.
Police issued two photos of tattoos on the victim's arms Saturday morning as they worked to identify him.
"At this time we are conducting interviews and attempting to identify the last movements of the victim," Walker said in a follow-up news release.
A possible suspect car is a two-door black "Mazda-like sedan with a dealer paper tag containing at least two black male subjects," Lewandowski said at the crime scene.
