One of Oklahoma's Own hopes to change the world one card at a time.
Kenzie Chabino is a freshman at Union High School.
When she was just nine years old, she and her mother came up with Kenzie's Cause.
Their goal is to encourage kids of all ages across the state to make cards that will touch the life of someone else.
Chabino told students at Lee Elementary today that their cards were gifts of time and love that money could never buy.
"I took them to Meals on Wheels recipients, and I didn't think it would be a big deal," Chabino said. "Their reactions are magnificent and they're wonderful. And they break my heart and heal my heart, all at the same time. "
The Oklahoma State PTA has even joined in the cause, sending blank cards to schools across the state.
Governor Fallin also declared Thursday Oklahoma Gift of Giving Day, in honor of Kenzie's Cause.
