The LeFlore County Sheriff's Office has arrested a 26-year-old man on two first-degree murder complaints in the death of a 20-year-old woman who was pregnant.
LeFlore County Sheriff Bruce Curnutt says deputies arrested Christopher Simpson of Fort Coffee on Thursday evening. He is being held without bond.
Simpson is accused in the April 2012 death of Kaloni Flynn, who was living in Fort Smith, Arkansas.
The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation said after several months of investigation into the crime, a judge signed a warrant for Simpson's arrest Thursday.
The OSBI believe Simpson shot and killed Flynn April 9, 2012. Flynn was 12 weeks pregnant at the time. The unborn child also died.
Flynn was found inside her car parked on McGinnis Lane between Spiro and Pocola in LeFlore County. Simpson is believed to be the unborn child's father.
