TULSA, Oklahoma – Tulsa Police are looking to question a man they're calling a person of interest in the city's latest homicide.

The target of their search is 26-year-old Wilburt Tyrone Moore Jr. He is described as a black male, 5-foot-8 to 6 feet tall with a pony tail.

Moore may be involved in the shooting death of 41-year-old Kenny Maywald.

Maywald died after getting shot outside an apartment complex on North Norwood around 6:30 p.m. Sunday evening.

Witnesses told Police Maywald was looking for a shooting suspect who had shot at his friend's car earlier in the evening.

Maywald went to the apartments in the 2100 block of North Norwood Ave.

Tulsa Police say a resident at one apartment stated that Maywald knocked on their door at around 6:45 PM, telling them he had just been shot and to call 911, just before collapsing outside the front door.

If you have any information that can help police, call Crime Stoppers at 596-COPS.
