The Eufaula Police chief and his wife face charges of child stealing. Police Chief Larry Osmond has been charged with two counts of child stealing and one count of perjury.

His wife, is charged with one count of child stealing. Both have pleaded innocent to taking their granddaughter.

The child's paternal grandparents had been awarded custody, but the Osmonds allegedly refused to turn the child over.
