Oklahoma Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal crash they say may involve a homeless person.

Troopers say the man was walking down the middle of the street when a driver hit him. The driver then turned around and dialed 911. Troopers say they found an ID card for a local shelter on the victim and say he's believed to be homeless.

The name of the man has not been released.
