Update: Tulsa Man Killed At Meadows Apartments Identified, Police Searching For Suspect

Tulsa police said the man shot at the Meadows Apartment complex near East 31st Street and South Garnett Road has died in the hospital. The case is now being investigated as a homicide making it Tulsa's 72 nd of the year.

Update: Tulsa Police have identified the man shot and killed as 37-year-old Matthew Scott Thomason.

Tulsa police said the man shot at the Meadows Apartment complex near East 31st Street and South Garnett Road has died in the hospital.

Officers went to the Meadows Apartment Complex after shots were fired around 7:15 on Monday night. Police said they found a man lying in the road when they arrived at the scene. According to the officers, someone shot the victim after he left his friend's apartment. EMSA crews took the victim to the hospital in critical condition where he died on Tuesday.

According to officers, several cars were hit by bullets during the shooting and even an apartment window. Police discovered shell casings from a rifle and a handgun in the parking lot where they found the victim.

Officers interviewed several witnesses, but they did not share any information about the possible shooter. The case is now being investigated as a homicide making it Tulsa's 72nd of the year.
