Veteran Salute: Willie Easton

We are saluting the men and women who served our country.

On March 19, we want to salute Army veteran Willie Easton.

Willie served during World War II and even landed on the beach of Normandy just days after D-Day.

He earned a Purple Heart during his time in the Army.

After retiring, he opened up a small upholstery shop in Lexington and raised his two sons.

He passed away in 2020, but his life and service will never be forgotten.
