OSBI Investigating After Ada Man Killed Early Monday

A man was killed overnight in Ada, the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation said.

Police were called shortly after 1 a.m. Monday to the 1400 block of Northcrest in Ada.

When officers arrived, they found David Charles Evans, 50, severely wounded.

When paramedics arrived, Evans was pronounced dead at the scene.

Local TV station KXII confirmed Evans was a pastor in town.

The death is being investigated as a homicide and the state medical examiner's office will determine Evans' cause of death.
