A 20-year-old Tulsa man who just started his own business said thieves stole more than $2,000 worth of equipment from him.

He said he started the business three months ago so he could support his mom, now he's having to borrow equipment, just to keep working.

Anthony Villavicencio took a risk and started his own business to give him and his mom a better life. Now he's having to scrounge up more money to start over again, all thanks to thieves.

“They bent the locks. Everything was taken, two blowers, a hedge trimmer. They took a blade edger and a weed eater,” said Villavicencio.

Villavicencio said more than half of his landscaping equipment is gone, including his new lawn mower.

"Honestly I started breaking down that day, I didn't know what to do,” said Villavicencio.

Villavicencio said he got back from a family vacation earlier this week, saw his gas tank in the yard and immediately knew someone broke into his trailer.

Villavicencio said his neighbor gave him this surveillance video of someone pulling up in a silver Ford f-150 to his driveway, then someone ran toward his trailer. Now Villavicencio is left with one lawn mower and borrowed equipment.

"I got some jobs, and it was going really good for me and now this is really just slowing me down within a couple days,” said Villavicencio. "I'm just really trying to make it to where I can and to help my mother out. This is where I make most of my money from. It helps her out and it helps me out."

Anthony said he barely has enough equipment to keep working. He said without all his tools, he can't do the professional work that he takes pride in doing.

"I have to explain it to my clients, I have to work like that. I have to work with one weed eater, and a bar blower that isn't mine, but I'm still doing it,” said Villavicencio.

Villavicencio is offering a $200 reward for any help finding his stolen equipment or the person responsible.
