Heads up for drivers in downtown Tulsa and along Cherry Street, several roads will be closed for Saint Patrick's Day festivities.
Many of these roads closed around Wednesday afternoon in preparation for what many restaurants and bars call their Super Bowl.
On Thursday, a section of 1st Street at Elgin in downtown is closed in front of McNellie's for their celebration.
Elgin is closed in parts from 1st Street to 3rd Street for an event happening outside Arnie's Bar.
15th Street is also closed from Peoria to Rockford Avenue for a big block party including Kilkenny's and other participating places.
Organizers involved in downtown Tulsa's celebrations say they are expecting a big turnout on Thursday.
"We're going to have a DJ at night, we're going to have corn home boards set out, more importantly, we're just going to have a ton of tables and chairs for people to sit our and enjoy the beautiful day," said Travis Taylor from McNellie's.
The city of Tulsa's traffic flow maps indicate that all closed roads for Saint Patrick's Day should be reopened by lunchtime on Friday.
