The parents of a woman who was murdered are remembering their daughter on what would have been her 45th birthday.

Melissa Dake was shot and killed nearly 10 years ago in a quadruple murder.

Despite receiving several leads, nothing has led to an arrest in the case, police said.

Her parents call her Missy and they are having a really hard time; they just can't move on until this is solved.

Every time they talk about their daughter, they break down because their hearts are broken.

Her parents often flip through a photo album full of pictures of Missy as a kid, a teenager, a young mom, and then it stops.

“I just fell to my knees and started crying," said Robert White, Missy's father.

Missy was murdered at age 35.

“November 23rd, 2013. There was four people killed that night. My daughter, my son-in-law Charlie and two of our friends," said Robert.

Police said Melissa and Charlie Dake, Glenda Harper and Tammy Brunson were shot to death in a converted garage near Pine and Harvard.

“My son-in-law Charlie Dake fought the guy because he got shot 4 times. I do know the son of a ***** shot my daughter in the face," said Robert. “We had a closed casket. Her face was blown off.”

Robert said his daughter had his attitude and snorted when she laughed. Missy loved animals and loved her six kids. "Loved to fish. She loved to hunt,” said Robert.

Investigators believe the victims knew the suspect who was likely familiar with the house, which was associated with drugs.

“Oklahoma does the death penalty and I’d like to see him fried,” said Robert.

If Robert was blowing out the birthday candles, he'd wish for justice.

“God said eye for an eye and God’s gonna take his judgement upon him. He’s going straight to hell," said Robert.

Melissa's father said somebody knows something and is begging anyone with information to call police or Crime Stoppers at 918-596-COPS.
