Warmer Wednesday, Rain Chances Later This Week

It is a very winter-like morning across Oklahoma on Wednesday, with high pressure overhead keeping our skies clear and winds light.

What is the weather like on Wednesday?

Overnight we dropped back into the 20s, but a warm-up is on the way! A south breeze returns later on Wednesday with highs back in the low 50s.

Wednesday night will be clear and cold with low 30s.

What is the weather like this week?

Thursday will be bright and sunny once again with highs in the 50s and low 60s.

Friday looks windy with gusts out of the south at 15 to 30 mph.

Clouds roll in Friday and we may see some drizzle develop. A few showers are possible into Friday afternoon. 

A cold front will come through Friday night bringing a slight chance of rain to the metro with higher chances across eastern Oklahoma.

Will Oklahoma Have A White Christmas?

Statistically, Oklahoma has a low chance of snow on Christmas Day.

It hasn’t snowed here on Christmas in 12 years, and the last nine Christmases have been snow-free.

However, there’s still hope as we track a couple of systems closer to the holiday. Stay tuned!
