Music Monday: Upcoming Events With 106.9 K-Hits

It's our weekly visit to our radio partners here at Griffin Media! On Monday, we checked in with the Chubbs and Kacy from 106.9 K-Hits!

DAVE DAVIS: We've had a little break from Music Monday because of the holidays but as we start 2024, we kick off a new year with our friends from K-Hits!

KACY: This year, Chubbs has a big, long list of resolutions. Here I've written it down so I can hold him accountable.

CHUBBS: I want to be in a movie. That's one of the biggest ones. I have the potential but I think it's just my face.

KACY: I'm just trying to help him get his goals. The other one is he wants to apply to be a contestant on three different game shows. Yeah, so big things are gonna happen in 2024.

LEANNE TAYLOR: there are a couple of big things that you guys have been working on. What's this about? Dave's wife loves the movie Mean Girls and this new movie that's coming out you guys are having a party?

KACY: Very pumped for this. I actually said that this morning. Mean Girls, the original, every girl I know knows every line to that movie. It's just a pop culture phenomenon. Another movie comes out on Friday so we decided that we're going to have a movie party out at B&B Theatres on Saturday. We've been giving away tickets, we rented out the entire theater. We're giving away more tickets this week at 7 p.m. all week long. Super, super fun.

KACY: If that isn't your thing then don't worry. Ludacris is also coming to River Spirit Casino in February! We're excited about that and we'll be giving away tickets to that too.
